Hi everyone! In this post I’m going
to tell you about a superpower I’d like to have, and it’s the ability of travel
in time. Think about it! It would be great if you could go to the past if you’ve
made a mistake, or if you want to know how it was to live in the past, like in prehistoric
or medieval age.
You could have anything you want if
you manage to use correctly this power, you can even win every lottery prizes
hahaha. You can also get any kind of response to a problem, I mean, if you don’t
like how a certain event was, you can always go to the past and live it again
as many times as you want, until you like how it passed. There is a special
movie about it (because there’s a looooot of movies about this topic) and it’s
called “About time”. It’s a really good comedy-drama movie about a young man
who can travel anytime he has been before just by getting on a closet and
closing his eyes. He manages to get anything he wants (his girlfriend, job and
a good life), but as times goes on, he cannot go to certain places because of
the events he has made.
Despite of the benefits, this power
has a very complex paradox which involves to travel on many different realities
which in the same time implies that the subject has to go on different parts of
his life while he grows: if you go to the past for a long time, how would you
be like when you get to the present? Would
you be older or same?
It’s also unforgettable because it was in those days when my girlfriend (in that time just a friend) told me she liked me. She had an apartment on Algarrobo and invited me to stay for a couple days. So some days I stayed on my friends house and other days on the apartment, and the last night there, she told me a lot of things, but that’s another large story. It was just incredible.
